Worship Leader

JOB OVERVIEW

Victory Church seeks a Campus Worship Leader who will work in harmony with the Campus Pastor and Worship Team. The ideal candidate is a spiritually mature, musically talented individual who seeks to understand and promote the vision, mission, and core values of Victory Church. The Campus Worship Leader will work with staff, Elders, Deacons, and other Ministry Leaders to align the Worship Arts Department with the church’s strategic plan of ministry.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Work under the Campus Pastor to create, coordinate, and execute weekly worship services.
• Lead authentic worship with a variety of musical stylings (ie. hymns and contemporary) suitable for a blended congregation.
• Identify, invite, mentor, and empower worship team members to be part of the Worship Arts Ministry.
• Participate in all staff meetings and functions as a team player.
• Help plan, facilitate, and serve in holiday services, weddings, funerals and other special events.
• Lead in the organization and set up of stage design and weekly staging needs.
• Organize and maintain clean storage areas for the Worship Arts Department.
• Work with the Campus Pastor to develop and maintain an annual budge for the Worship Arts Department to be approved by the Deacons.
• Schedule and communicate with worship team members via Planning Center Online.
• Presentation of self and ministry should be glorifying to Christ and represent the church well including on any/all social media platforms.

COMPENSATION

To be negotiated based upon previous experience
